Danfoss Randall RAVL Replacement Sensor 013G295000

As part of the commitment to service, Danfoss Randall produce a range of Built-In and Remote Sensors that fit directly to older RAV and RAVL valve bodies. Question

Hi – Could you tell me if the Danfoss RA2910 thermostatic radiator sensor (Model No. 013G29100) is a 26mm connector or 34mm connector as I require the 26mm connector.

Answer

Thank you for your enquiry - Please find product page link for the Danfoss 26mm Replacement sensor

The RA2910 Sensors are 22mm.

Question

Hello – my house was built in 1988 and the radiators are fitted with Danfoss S series RAVL thermostatic directly coupled valves (no separate sensor),the valves being a 90 degree entry and the thermostatic units fixed in the horizontal position held in place by a ring of plastic lugs secured by a removable  metal band. Unfortunately 2 of the valves have thermostatic units which are loose (appear to have been knocked by vacuum cleaner or kids toys which has broken the lugs). Please can you advise if I can purchase replacement thermostatic units, or their equivalent, to fit to the existing valve assemblies and if so what do I specify, etc.

Answer

Thank you for your enquiry - Please find product page link for the Danfoss (26mm diameter)
RAVL Replacement heads which suits the RAVL valve bodies.

Question

Hello – I am the person responsible for the maintenance of the Brackley Baptist church, all of our thermostatic  valves on our radiators had been broken over the years and I need to replace them
The valve replacement from what I can see is the Danfoss 013G295000 26mm diameter connection
I see mentioned that we should also look at replacing the gland - is this correct?
can you advise the cost of both - I would look to purchasing 1 set to see that all fits and then would look to purchasing a further 6 sets

Question

Hi - I need some really old TRVs for an old system. The opening to the radiator is 22mm..the ones on the rads are Danfoss,  I reckon they must be 12-15 years old. I need the plastic bit that attaches to the "gland" in your helpful picture, I need RA/VLs.

which have a 26mm connection to the valve body, you may wish to double check this before ordering.
