This official Baxi ionisation kit is suitable for use in Duo-tec, Duo-tec ErP, Megaflo, Megaflo ErP, Platinum +, Platinum ErP, Gold, Gold ErP, Heatmax, Promax, Promax ErP, Titanium and Titanium ErP Boilers. Usually, there are two different types of electrodes. Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode makes the spark that starts the burner. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task that ensures the boiler doesn't keep supplying gas while no flame is present.

Please always refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the correct application. All parts should be fitted by a qualified gas-safe certificate plumber.
