Kamco D250 Ex-Scaliber Scale Reducer- Prevents Limescale and hard water deposit problems.
Ex-scalibur units inhibit scale deposition by dispensing minute quantities (4 parts per million) of polyphosphates into the water, in proportion to the flow of water. The hardness salts are modified in character and remain suspended in the water, passing through the system harmlessly without forming scale deposits.
As well as preventing scale formation, the polyphosphate forms a microscopic film on internal surfaces, protecting them from rusting and corrosion.
Since the natural minerals are not removed from the water, Ex-scalibur does not soften water.
The amount of polyphosphate blended into the water is controlled by the venturi action of the Ex-scalibur, which matches the treatment to the flow of water through the Ex-scalibur.
GELPHOS P polyphosphate powder is a blend of food grade polyphosphates and phosphates suitable for all hard water. It is completely safe and is tasteless, odourless and colourless.
The technology has been proven and accepted for many years within the water treatment industry.
The D250 standard model is supplied with one rapid refill drop-in cartridge of GELPHOS P, sufficient to treat approximately 15,000 litres of water, whilst the D250 Value Pack includes eight rapid refill cartridges.
The frequency of refilling will depend on water consumption. As a guide, the domestic D250 will require refilling every 3 months when used to protect an individual boiler, more frequently if used to treat a complete household water system.
