Product Uses

Fernox Leak Tester is used for detecting leaks of any gas including natural gas, air, oxygen, acetylene and other gases. Fernox Leak Tester is used for leak testing on new installations, during maintenance and for insurance inspections at pressures from 0.25 psi to 1000 psi. Leak Tester is slow drying and is suitable for hot surfaces. Dried deposits are water soluble and non-corrosive.

Application and Dosage

Fernox Leak Tester should be sprayed all around the joint, gasket, welded seam or surface to be tested.

Minor and low pressure leaks will be indicated by the slow formation of a single bubble. Larger and high pressure leaks are indicated by the formation of a stable foam. Rinse off with water if required, however dried on deposits prevent rusting.

Packaging, Handling and Storage

Fernox Leak Tester is supplied in 250 ml containers.

Fernox Leak Tester is classified non-hazardous, but as with all chemicals: Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with any other chemicals. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
